Insurance Issue

  • Follow up with insurance companies regarding non-payment of medical or other claims.
  • Keep medical providers in the loop if insurance is slow to pay so they know you are attentive to their bills.
  • Keep detailed records of charges incurred, insurance company payments and your personal payments on these charges so you know how much you are spending on your medical bills.
  • File Flex-Care spending claims for Medical or Dependent Care. Keep track of what you have paid in and what you have been reimbursed. Know at all times how much you have left in these accounts so you leave nothing on the table at the end of the year.

Rental Property “watch dog” service

  • Review property management statements to assure you are receiving all you are due from your rental properties. Institute direct deposit where possible for quick access to your monthly proceeds.
  • Follow up on repair issues with property management companies to assure only the work you need to have done is being done and likewise, that nothing falls through the cracks and is forgotten.
  • Keep records of year to date earnings and expenditures for each property.
  • Make certain mortgage payments, rental property insurance and property taxes are paid on time.
